Illusion

Illusion is a beautiful dun mare with one blue eye who was found in the desert of Southern AZ by the AZ Department of Livestock. Equine Voices attended the auction and won the bid against the killer buyer.

Illusion is one of our “special needs” horses. She has laminitis, which is a painful inflammation of the hoof. Her laminitis is maintained with a special diet. Illusion has come a long way since her arrival, but she does require special kindness and understanding.

She is breathtakingly beautiful with unique eyes, as one is blue. Illusion spends her days watching all the events that happen on the Sanctuary. She gladly welcomes all the volunteers every morning with corral mate, Ariana.
